Sales Account Manager - East Midlands

Job Description:

Following a successful round of fundraising and ahead of our launch in October of 2018, we are looking for an ambitious sales account manager and beer ambassador to join our team to drive sales in our Heartland of the East Midlands.
Your job will be to establish the beers of a soon-to- be iconic brewery and grow a large and commercially valuable fan base in the East Midlands and beyond. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping build our vision of an iconic brewing business from the ground up. While your job focus will be about growing our reach and distribution, everyone who works at Round Corner Brewing needs to be phenomenally adaptable in order to succeed in a start-up environment.

The specifics:
  • Focus on on-trade beer sales as a way to place our beers in front of our core East Midlands and craft beer target audience.
  • Your success will be measured on both sales volumes and profitability for our beers.
  • Develop a sales plan, sell to founders and harness their knowledge but ultimately take responsibility for delivering the plan to make us the iconic beer in the East Midlands.
  • Based out of our brewery at Melton Mowbray Market, you will build and be the fulcrum of a valuable network of pub partners and a personable, service driven champion of our brand. Pubs as partners is the route for us to reach our fans and these partners will need to love working with you and us. This will involve input into the brand, marketing and the beer.
  • Be a passionate advocate of and have outstanding knowledge of beer. This will either be present already or we can up your knowledge, but infectious passion is what you have to bring. This will include regular participation in brews to increase your product knowledge.
  • Co-ordinate and execute events such as tastings and festivals either on site at the market or with our pubs and venue partners.

  • A sales person who is adaptable gets the reality of a start-up and the need to add value in all areas across the business.
  • An energetic and ambitious self-starter capable of working in a fluid and entrepreneurial environment and doing whatever it takes to make our business successful by making our partners and consumers happy.
  • Excellent Communicator. Passionate and knowledgeable about beer and driven to get great beer out to a wide audience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of on-trade alcohol sales channels coupled with robust, target-focussed salesmanship and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to leverage and/or cultivate robust long-term relationships and networks with surrounding on-trade environments
  • Service-orientated and able to understand and respond to the needs of our customers in ways that will build their relationship with us
  • A passion for beer that you can leverage as the key point of contact between our brand and both our retail partners and those who consume our products.
