We are a small brewery and distillery on the verge of a large expansion and we are looking for a self-starter with exceptional brewing and/or distilling experience, a mind like a steel trap and a nimbleness only equaled by a gray fox.  We will not tolerate folks who rest on their laurels; we expect the candidate to be willing to assist the brewer/distiller/owners in achieving greatness. 

Qualifications or Skill Required:

• Full mobility and physical capability to safely and effectively work in a brewery environment including standing up to 10 hours per shift, stooping, bending, crouching, reaching manual manipulation of small parts and all equipment necessary to the job
• Lifting up to 55 pounds to shoulder height repetitively
• Lifting full 1/2 bbl kegs into trucks
• Working in often hot/wet/cold/humid conditions--ability to fit inside of a 10bbl vessel a plus (got to keep yourself fit!)
• Ability to walk up and down stairs throughout shift 
• Great palate for beer with sharp olfactory and taste senses 
• At least two years of experience in mid-sized to large craft brewery
• Strong verbal and written communication capability
• Ability to work all shifts, including traditional work days (starting early), nights and weekends
• Must have reliable transportation
• High school diploma, but college degree preferred

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Operation of multi-vessel, non-automated brewhouse (you have to be willing to move a lot of hoses aroun) 
• Malt handling and milling
• CIP of brewhouse vessels
• Wort transfer
• Manual cleaning
• Basic brewery equipment maintenance
• Facilities maintenance
• Raw material and finished product handling (forklift and other equipment operation to the warehouse and load/unload trucks)
• Keg filling and canning
• Scheduling and ordering of brewery materials (yeast, grain, adjuncts)

Desired Experience and Skills:
•  A friendly person with the willingness to start at the bottom of a fast growing brewery.
